Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Rad Tech / IR Tech -

Unit Information :

Number of Beds- 3 rooms, 1 patient per room

Number of Staff- 20, consisting of RN S and Techs

Type of staff : Day Shift- 1 Charge RN, Director, Manager, Supervisor, 4 staff members per room, 12 total per shift. Night Shift- On-call team, 2 each call team, 4 total

Patient Ratios : 1 : 1

Type of equipment : GE and Philips rooms

EMR : Meditech and MacLab

List typical procedures performed on unit(s) : Cardiac Cath, Cerebella angiograms, stents, Balloons, ENT Lab, scrubbing On-call is required of 1-2 weekday shifts and 1 weekend per 4 week period.

Requirements :

Must have : BLS, ACLS, ARRT for Techs

Must be competent in Special Procedures & GE Innova & must have recent acute facility IR / Specials experience.

Preferred or nice to have : RCIS for techs

Best personality Fit : Team player, close knit team, critical thinker, patient care focus, fast paced On-call is frequent, must be flexible and adapt to needs of Unit

Dress Code : Facility provides Blue Surgical Scrubs for IR RNs.
