Role : Senior Systems Engineer (MSP)
As a Systems Engineer, youll serve as a technical leaderhandling escalations, driving infrastructure and security projects, and mentoring junior engineers. Youll work directly with clients, project managers, and leadership to design, implement, and support advanced IT solutions across cloud, security, and networking.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the escalation point for Level 1 & Level 2 engineers
- Partner with the Project Manager to scope, plan, and execute client infrastructure and security projects
- Design, deploy, and support Microsoft Azure & Microsoft 365 solutions (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, Azure AD / Entra, Azure VMs)
- Manage Windows Server environments (AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, hybrid environments)
- Configure and troubleshoot firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, routing, switching (SonicWall, Fortinet, Ubiquiti, etc.)
- Maintain virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V, Azure Virtual Desktop)
- Administer backup & DR tools (Datto, Veeam, etc.)
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives : MFA, EDR / XDR, Conditional Access, Zero Trust, SIEM / MDR, vulnerability management
- Develop PowerShell automation; Python or other scripting is a plus
- Maintain technical documentation and standards (IT Glue or equivalent)
- Participate in client meetings and translate technical designs into clear business value
- Ensure best-practice alignment with compliance frameworks (NIST, HIPAA, CJIS)
Required Experience
Proven experience leading or assisting major cloud / infrastructure projectsExperience working for an IT Managed Service Provider RequiredExpert knowledge of Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active DirectoryStrong networking fundamentals (VPNs, VLANs, routing, firewall configuration)Experience with virtualization platforms and desktop virtualizationHands-on experience with backup & disaster recovery toolsPowerShell scripting expertise (automation mindset)Excellent communication and client-facing skillsCompensation & Benefits
