Radiology Technician Surgery Responsibilities :

• Independently perform standard radiographic procedures in all settings.
• Provide specialized mobile imaging in the operating room, emergencies, and inpatient settings.
• Ensure high-quality intraoperative and bedside imaging.
• Assists with departmental coverage at one or more satellite facilities; weekend; holiday and on-call coverage as required.
• Independently handle, operate, and troubleshoot all equipment, including setup for C-Arm daily and case-specific use.
• Perform C-Arm imaging while maintaining sterile technique and assisting with patient positioning.
• Execute standard, emergent and portable exams across all settings, prioritizing imaging needs efficiently.
• Maintain accurate imaging study documentation within electronic medical records and department-specific systems for timely and organized recordkeeping.
• Collaborate with department teams to facilitate smooth procedural workflows.
• Provide verbal and written instructions to patients and families on procedures as needed.
• Ensures patients' safety and comfort during and after the exam.
• Mentor students, participate in staff orientation, and assist in ongoing training and competency evaluations.
• Contribute to quality assurance by auditing images, upholding imaging standards, and collaborating on protocol development.
• Notify leadership and coordinate with vendors and biomedical teams to resolve technical issues and maintain equipment functionality
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and adapt to procedural changes while maintaining a high level of professionalism and patient care.

Radiology Technician Surgery Requirements :

Salary Range : Up to $39.50 / hr (based on experience)
