Description :

We are seeking a skilled Endoscopy Registered Nurse to join our team.

Must possess a valid Alaska RN license for an auto offer.

Assignment length options include 13 or 26 weeks.

Shifts are 4x10 days, totaling 40 hours per week.

First-time travelers are accepted.

Required skills include airway management, bronchoscopy, colonoscopy, and endoscopic ultrasound.

Will be on-call every fifth weekend.

Must be open to accommodating a block schedule.

Only one request for time off is allowed per 13-week assignment.

No holiday time off requests will be accepted for auto offers.

Guaranteed hours are 70 per two weeks, with the possibility of being called off for one 10-hour shift.

The facility operates as an acute hospital with Magnet status and is a Level II Trauma facility.

Daily census averages around 15 patients, with two endoscopy rooms available.

Interdisciplinary support includes various medical services.

Candidates must have experience with specific procedures including ERCP and EUS.

Minimum of two supervisory references are required.

Candidates should explore housing options in the area, as availability may be limited.

Vaccination for Hepatitis B is mandatory; other vaccination titer tests or declinations will not be accepted.
