Location : King County : 6211 Roosevelt Way NE, Seattle, Washington 98115

Environment : Full Time, Monday through Friday

Responsibilities Collaborate closely with the design team throughout all project phases, from initial conceptual designs to detailed construction documents and administration.

Establish effective communication channels with consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies, and vendors to ensure the successful achievement of project objectives.

Work with the project architect and clients to grasp project goals, objectives, and program requirements, ensuring alignment with their vision.

Translate architectural sketches and design concepts into 2D and 3D drawings using technical expertise and presentation techniques.

Generate precise and realistic 3D BIM models and renderings using software such as Revit, Enscape, Formit, and Adobe Suite.

Coordinate with clients and project managers to navigate project budgets and financial constraints.

Research and develop design and documentation presentation strategies, incorporating industry trends, spatial requirements, area calculations, and desired design outcomes.

Conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and other guidelines while preserving design integrity.

Manage and facilitate interactions with city authorities during the permitting process, ensuring successful submissions and approvals.

Accompany the project architect on site visits, documenting essential information to inform the design process and maintain alignment with site conditions.

Assist with construction administration tasks, including processing submittals and addressing requests for information to oversee project progress.

Coordinate the integration of equipment, devices, accessories, and fixtures with consultants to ensure design coherency.

Seek and incorporate feedback through regular communication with clients, team members, and consultants to refine designs.

Create comprehensive plans, elevations, sections, 3D views, illustrations, schedules, and other visual aids to convey design intent.

Conduct routine on-site visits as directed by the Project Manager / Architect to supervise progress, document construction activities, and inform design decisions.

Qualifications Education and experience requirements, as well as safety standards and government regulations, are essential. Candidates should pursue and acquire critical licenses and certifications as part of career advancement.
