Overview
Under the direction of the Public Relations Director, the Public Relations Specialist will cultivate a strong industry network, increase awareness, and develop an enviable corporate image by creating and executing effective communication and media relations programs. Also, will maintain the public image of our organization, plan publicity strategies and campaigns, and manage relationships with the media.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Education and / or Experience
HS Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Journalism, Marketing Public Relations, or related field plus at least 3 years’ experience as a public relations specialist; or equivalent combination of education and experience in a casino public relations environment
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office and Social Media platforms. Familiarity with project management software and video / photo editing is a plus.

Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
