We are looking for an experienced Regional Controller to join a thriving manufacturing company in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role offers the opportunity to play a pivotal part in the company's growth while working closely with the VP of Finance. The position involves a mix of accounting, financial modeling, and cross-functional collaboration, all within a flexible work environment.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee and manage the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Perform detailed manufacturing cost accounting to support business decisions.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP standards across all financial activities.
• Develop and maintain cash flow and financial models to support forecasting and analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial planning and operational projects.
• Analyze job costs and expenditures to optimize resource allocation and cost efficiency.
• Provide insights on budget forecasting and financial strategies to support company growth.
• Work with the VP of Finance to support strategic decision-making and long-term planning.
• Utilize D365 and other financial tools to streamline accounting processes and reporting.
• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare reports for senior leadership.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
• Strong expertise in GAAP accounting principles and practices.
• Proven experience with manufacturing cost accounting and job cost analysis.
• Proficiency in cash flow modeling and financial forecasting.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly preferred.
• Advanced skills in financial modeling and data analysis.
• Familiarity with D365 or similar accounting systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
