Job Overview
Responsible for delivering food for the concession operation and performing inventory support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Arrives on time, in proper uniform, and at assigned workstation at the start of the shift.
- Responsible of checking and delivering the requisitions from the warehouse to the different outlets.
- Responsible of re-stocking all food related items at all the concessions - (salads, fruit cups, pastries, cold cuts, soups, specials, etc.)
- Maintaining assigned area cleaned and organized (customer’s tables, countertops, condiments station, take all empty boxes to the dumpster, etc.)
- Help cooks and cashiers as needed, to provide excellent customer service.
- Provides inventory control support.
- Expertly and professionally executes opening and closing side work.
- Assist the Cooks and Cashiers in the removal and restocking of all dining materials (plates, boats, utensils, condiments, etc.)
- Be advised of any ongoing food and drink specials as well as general knowledge of Gulfstream Park property and Guest Services Resources in order to respond to guest inquiries to the best of their ability.
- Be advised of week-to-week work schedule, and any changes made according to business needs.
- Follow the directives of all department SOPs and policies regarding uniforms, communication, and work duties.
- Provides excellent customer service to guests, fellow staff members, etc.
- Responsible for carrying out all duties with safety as a priority.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma required.1-3 years of previous experience preferred.Requires the knowledge, skills, and abilities to work with personal computers, and have the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers.Must have the ability to follow instructions, ability to perform assigned tasks under limited supervision.Physical Demands and Work Environment

The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, including second-hand environmental smoke. The employee may be exposed to the risks associated in attempting to resolve issues with extremely irate or difficult guests or staff members. The noise level in the work environment varies from light to moderate.Licenses, Certifications, Registration : Requires a Slot Combo or Pari-Mutuel Occupational License.
