Behavioral Health Billing Assistant

A company is looking for a Behavioral Health Biller.

Key Responsibilities

Complete insurance benefits verification and inform clients of their financial responsibilities

Obtain pre-authorizations for services and resolve denied claims with insurance companies

Manage client communications regarding outstanding balances and conduct monthly eligibility checks

Required Qualifications

1 year of experience with Revenue Cycle Management

1 year of experience in Behavioral Health Billing

Experience with Prior Authorizations and verifying insurance plans

Knowledge of HMO / PPO / IPA / Medi-Cal plans

Ability to work independently; Spanish speaking is a plus
