Certified Inpatient Coder - IL

A company is looking for a HIM Certified Coder IP.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately code all records using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS classification systems

Provide interdepartmental coding assistance and develop compliant coding methodologies

Facilitate external audit activities and maintain coding certification and skills

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or G.E.D

Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC) or equivalent coding certification

Knowledge of ICD10, CPT, and HCPCS coding rules

Experience with coding software and encoders preferred

Knowledge of medical science, anatomy, and physiology required
