Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist for 4x10 hour day shifts, requiring ARDMS or ARRT(S) certification and 2 years of ultrasound experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work in diagnostic imaging across multiple specialties including general, vascular, breast, small parts, and 1st trimester OB ultrasound
  • Responsibilities include assisting with biopsies and performing both inpatient and outpatient imaging procedures
  • Schedule consists of four 10-hour day shifts with participation in a call rotation
  • Travelers must maintain a permanent address at least 75 miles from the facility
  • Position involves providing services for both inpatient and outpatient care settings
  • Candidates must be able to perform a variety of ultrasound examinations and support procedures such as image-guided biopsies
  • Facility offers housing available for rent directly to travelers
  • No local candidates accepted due to 75-mile radius rule

    • Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in ultrasound technology
  • Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
  • ARDMS(OB) or ARDMS(AB) or ARRT(S) certification required
  • Proof of flu vaccination is required with no exemptions
  • License required if applicable
