SPECIAL INVESTIGATOR - Division of Healthcare Quality - DHCQ
SUMMARY STATEMENT
The incumbent receives and investigates complaints of abuse, neglect, mistreatment, and financial exploitation involving residents of nursing homes, assisted living facilities, neighborhood and group homes, and other residential settings. Work includes interviewing victims, witnesses, suspects, and family members, reviewing medical and other records, recording and / or recovering evidence, preparing for and testifying at civil and criminal hearings.
