We are seeking a motivated Graduate Civil Engineer (EIT) . This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level engineer to gain hands-on experience working on diverse civil engineering projects, including site development, transportation, utilities, and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have an Engineering-in-Training (EIT) certification and a strong interest in pursuing their Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist with the planning, design, and analysis of civil engineering projects such as roads, stormwater, grading, water / wastewater, and site development.
- Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports under the supervision of licensed engineers.
- Perform calculations for drainage, utilities, grading, and other civil systems.
- Conduct field visits, site inspections, and construction support as needed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, surveyors, and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, codes, and standards.
- Support project managers in coordinating schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program.EIT certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months).Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and design standards.Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, or similar design software.Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.Desire to pursue PE license.Preferred Skills (a plus) :
Internship or co-op experience in civil / site design, transportation, or construction.Familiarity with hydrology / hydraulics software (HEC-RAS, StormCAD, etc.).Knowledge of local permitting processes and regulations.What We Offer :
