Position Summary

The IT Internship at Virginia Green provides hands-on, practical experience to help you kickstart your IT career. As an intern, you will support the IT team with hardware, software, and account management while gaining exposure to cybersecurity, cloud administration, data management, analytics, and infrastructure projects. You will also have opportunities to participate in innovative initiatives, including automation, AI tools, and process improvements. Primary Responsibilities

• Assist the IT team with provisioning and deprovisioning workstations, mobile devices, and managing account access.
• Provide technical support for hardware and software, both in-person and remotely.
• Manage service request tickets through resolution using the service desk platform, keeping supervisors and internal customers updated.
• Support Microsoft 365 applications, Entra ID (Azure AD), SharePoint, and Teams.
• Assist with cybersecurity tasks such as endpoint protection monitoring, MFA setup, and phishing alert review.
• Configure and troubleshoot printers, scanners, and related devices.
• Participate in IT projects including migrations, security assessments, process automation, and data / dashboard initiatives.
• Ensure the protection of company and customer data by maintaining a secure environment.
