About the Role
We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This position will support a variety of HR functions including onboarding, employee relations, recruiting, benefits administration, compliance, and engagement. The HR Generalist will act as a trusted resource for employees and managers while promoting a positive, compliant, and people-focused workplace culture.
Responsibilities
Support employee relations matters including documentation, policy interpretation, and conflict resolution.Partner with managers on performance and attendance issues, escalating complex cases as appropriate.Administer HR policies, procedures, and programs.Assist with Leave of Absence (LOA) and Workers' Compensation coordination.Exposure to full-cycle recruiting : job postings, screening, interview coordination, and offer preparation.Own and facilitate onboarding and orientation for Corporate new hires.Remotely support onboarding for retail location new hires.Help manage the company's professional presence and employer brand through approved channels.Provide support for employee engagement and wellness initiatives.Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.Assist with training coordination and performance review processes.Maintain HR data, reports, and employee records with accuracy and confidentiality.Other projects and duties as assigned.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required (Business or HR-related preferred).Minimum 2 years of HR experience.Experience in a retail, distribution, or multi-location environment preferred.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations.Experience with HRIS systems required, Paycom preferred.Familiarity with social media or employer branding is a plus.Why Join Us
