About The Position

Position Summary

The Physical Therapist will evaluate, plan, and provide patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, treating patients across the lifespan from pediatrics to geriatrics. Caseload includes orthopedic (post-op TKA, THA, TSA), outpatient neuro, and general rehabilitation. The PT will ensure high-quality, evidence-based care while documenting accurately to meet regulatory and reimbursement requirements.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans.

Deliver therapeutic interventions for a wide range of conditions including orthopedic, neurologic, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.

Document assessments, treatment progress, and outcomes in Epic EMR.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.

Educate patients and families on therapy goals, home exercise programs, and recovery strategies.

Adapt to a mix of inpatient and outpatient settings, floating between hospital and clinic as required.

Demonstrate resilience, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills to support patient engagement and team collaboration.

Job Requirements

Requirements

Education : Degree in Physical Therapy required

Licensure / Certifications : Active Michigan PT license and AHA BLS required

Experience : Open to new graduates; prior experience in inpatient and / or outpatient therapy preferred

Charting System : Epic EMR experience preferred
