Anesthesiologist – Part-Time Opportunity

Fairbanks, Alaska | Ambulatory Surgery Center | W-2 or 1099

Position Highlights

Lifestyle ambulatory surgery center position
Part‑time : 30–36 hours / week or 3 days / week
Vacation : 8–11 weeks annually
Start Date : December 15, 2025
Compensation : $400,000–$450,000 / year
W-2 Employee (preferred) or 1099 Contractor

Key Benefits

No call, no weekends, no nights, no holidays

Bread‑and‑butter outpatient cases

Regional anesthesia skills are required

Collaborative, supportive team environment

Optional 23‑hour patient coverage 1–3 times / year (extra pay)

Clinical Practice

Cases : Orthopedics, General Surgery, ENT, Gynecology, Neuro Spine, Ophthalmology, Podiatry, Endoscopy

80–90% personally performed cases; 10–20% CRNA supervision

Outpatient anesthesia always; pediatric and neuroanesthesia sometimes

Rare trauma cases; no cardiac, thoracic, vascular, obstetric, or chronic pain

Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible (Anesthesiology)

Alaska medical license (or eligibility)

Current ACLS certification

New graduates welcome
