This position is Part time working Saturday and Sunday, 10am to 10pm, & Weekdays 4p-9p
Job Summary : Under general supervision, supports the development, implementation, and administration of on and off campus recreational / community integration programs and activities. Assist in the retention, health and wellness of A New Leaf Transition Academy Students, within the academy's co-curricular environment.
Essential Functions
1. Highly developed organizational, time management, human relations and interpersonal communication and writing skills; self-motivated, flexible, and creative.
2. Carry out and assist with the development of on and off campus recreational and community integration events and calendars.
3. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of incident, shift and other documents / reports.
4. Ability to order materials and knowledgeable understanding of fiscal management.
5. Ability to design, prepare, deliver, and modify activities to meet the needs of I / DD and or Autism.
6. Transport students to and from scheduled academy student life events.
7. Assist with quarterly academy assemblies and graduation.
8. Work closely with Residential Life staff.
9. Able to be flexible and complete tasks as unforeseen events arise.
10. Abide by the agency and state policies and procedures.
11. Case Management.
12. Model, mentor, and motivate the value of appropriate and effective independent living standards and workforce success.
