Medical Assistant Urgent Care
The Medical Assistant Urgent Care is cross trained to perform a variety of administrative and clinical duties while working collaboratively with the providers, office supervisor, and practice manager. This position provides professional patient care such as recording vitals, taking patient history, and preparing patients for examination under the supervision of the provider. The Medical Assistant assists with providers and staff in coordinating patient care, scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding for insurance purposes and functions as a liaison between patients, staff, and providers. The Medical Assistant strives to improve the health status, wellness, and quality of life for our customers, employees, and the community through disease prevention, health promotion, and injury care.

Strong phlebotomy skills needed
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Clerical responsibilities will be performed on non-event days.
Hours on non-event days are Monday through Friday, 7 : 30 a.m. to 4 : 00 p.m.

Gather requirements from internal and external customers and provide information via phone, electronic messaging and in person.
