Role : Business Analyst - Workday Implementation
Duration : 6+ Months Contract (W2)
Location : Portland, OR (Hybrid)

Responsibilities :
Workday Implementation & Support
- Serve as a functional analyst for one or more Workday modules, including Core HCM, Recruiting, Talent, Learning, Performance, Succession, and Help / Today.
- Partner with HR and IT teams to analyze, design, test, and implement new Workday features and enhancements.
- Translate business requirements into functional design documents and system configurations.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), prepare test scripts, and ensure issues are documented and resolved.
- Support system integrations between Workday and other enterprise applications.
Business Analysis & Process Improvement
Lead requirements gathering workshops and map current vs. future HR processes.Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and automate manual processes within Workday.Support data analysis and reporting using Workday’s reporting tools and dashboards.Collaborate on change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes.Stakeholder Management
Partner with HR business owners, IT developers, and external vendors to manage project timelines and deliverables.Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring transparency and alignment.Provide end-user support, create training documentation, and lead knowledge transfer sessions.Required
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Human Resources, or related field (or equivalent experience).3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting HR technology implementations.Hands-on experience with Workday HCM (preferably in implementation or optimization phases).Strong understanding of HR processes, including recruiting, onboarding, performance, and learning.Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Workday Report Writer, Prism, or similar).Demonstrated experience in Agile methodologies and iterative project delivery.Preferred
Workday certification in one or more modules (HCM, Recruiting, or Talent).Experience in utilities or energy industry or similar regulated environments.Proven experience with change management and process reengineering.Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.Strong emotional intelligence and ability to work cross-functionally in a collaborative environment.
