Responsibilities Hospital-based Operating Room (OR) setting Rotating 10-hour shifts with weekend and call requirements Must be flexible with scheduling and able to cover weekends and take call Patient population includes general surgery, ortho, urology, oncology, ENT, dental, plastics, neuro, CVT, and trauma cases Use of Da Vinci Robotics and Epic EMR Both circulating and scrub roles required No block schedules permitted for any reason Prior travel experience highly preferred Reliable personal transportation is highly recommended as public transportation is not accessible in the area Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November through April First time travelers may be considered if all requirements are met All work history details and any gaps over 90 days must be thoroughly documented Submit religious or medical exemption documentation as required Requirements Active RN license; Vermont or proof of application within 24 hours of offer, or NY license (pending approval with documentation) Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience required Recent large trauma level 1 hospital experience within the past year Epic charting experience within the last 2 years required Proficient in circulating and scrubbing (skills in both required) Experience in gen OR, ortho, urology, oncology, Da Vinci robotics, gen surgery, ENT, dental, plastics, neuro, CVT, trauma Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-596073.
