Job description

Contracts Program Manager

Reef Systems is looking to add an experienced program manager to our team. This will be a remote, internal position. The ideal candidate will already have Government contracting experience and access to military facilities.

Mandatory Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited school or equivalent practical experience supporting U.S. Government Contracts including 4 years of experience in a contract management role.
  • Management experience that is in a labor-intensive environment.
  • Excellent business acumen developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organized, data-drive, self-taught and able to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.
  • Second to none understanding of quality control, and the high level of challenge often coming from contracting as well as the employees in the field.

Highly Preferred Qualifications :

  • Prior military or DoD contract support service experience.
  • Current PMP certification.
  • Prior experience in health care and / or human performance and optimization (HPO) project management experiences
  • Prior experience with customer and employee engagement
  • High level of competence with Excel, Word, Power Point and other Micro Soft products
  • Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Assist in cost, schedule and performance of all contracts while serving as an alternate point of contact for the Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer's Representative.
  • Monitor program objectives, assignments, budgets and schedules.
  • Track and support contract deliverables to ensure program compliance, accuracy, and on-time delivery of tasks.
  • Track employee performance and monitors program progress relative to established schedule.
  • Respond to and resolve employee questions and concerns.
  • Interfaces regularly with VP providing program status updates, reports issues and mitigations strategies.
  • Supervise subordinate staff to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks and maintenance of work quality standards.
  • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly activity and performance reports and other written materials, provide analysis and recommendations to the VP to support decision making qualifications.
  • Place of Performance :

    Work will be accomplished remotely from a remote location preferred within the San Antonio, TX or Cary, NC area, but locations in Central and Eastern time zones may also be considered.

    Travel :

    Travel may be required as business dictates.

    Work Schedule :

    Work is primarily Monday - Friday, 7 : 30 AM CST to 4 : 30 PM CST. However, schedule must remain flexible to accommodate business needs.
