Salary : $20.00 per hour

The Site Director is directly responsible for the safety and welfare of the staff and participants at the EDGE Program. Supervises the day-to-day operations of before and after school program including planning and implementing daily activities, purchasing supplies, supervising staff, communicating with various external and internal groups and other administrative duties. Primary emphasis should be on safety, fun and individual growth through well-rounded and diversified recreation opportunities.

Requirements :

• Must be at least 21 years of age and have 3 years of experience working hands-on with children; an Associates Degree in Education, Recreation or a related field; or equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the following knowledge, ability and skills
• Clearance of a criminal background check
• Ability to occasionally lift and / or move a minimum of 25 pounds
• Must be available for AM care from 6 : 45-8 : 45am and / or PM care from 2 : 45-6pm Monday-Friday in addition to attending monthly all staff meetings and to picking up supplies weekly from the Recreation Center. The Site Director may also be required to complete paid lesson planning hours outside of program hours in order to create daily program plans in advance
