Certified Medical Assistant (Per Diem)

Imagine360 is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (Per Diem) to join the team! This position is responsible for rendering care for patients of the miCare Health Center under the delegation of the miCare Practitioner(s). This position will also perform applicable office and clerical duties as related to the daily miCare Clinic operation.

Position Location :  Deland / Deltona FL

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

General Medical Assistant

• Utilizes medical knowledge and skills to perform patient care tasks under the conformance of current and recognized techniques, procedures, and standards within the scope of practice of the certification held. Includes but not limited to :
• Office reception, including greeting patients, answering telephone, and direct calls to patients.
• Documenting patients' demographics, history, symptoms and other significant information as directed by the Practitioner(s).
• Maintaining a safe work environment within compliance with infection control guidelines.
• Record patients' medical history, vital statistics, or information such as test results in medical records.
• Venipuncture and skin puncture for the purpose of withdrawing blood.
• Collect fluid or tissue samples, using appropriate collection procedures.
• Scheduling.
• Managing patient flow.
• Perform effective communication with miCare team and patient to ensure coordination of care.
• Carry out Practitioner(s) orders accurately and directly.
• Document provided care as required.
