The Oncology - Radiation Physician role requires a full-time commitment at a freestanding cancer center in Upper Midwest Iowa, with providers expected to work for four-week stretches without breaks. Candidates must hold a valid IA license or IMLC, be BC / BE certified, and be proficient in a range of radiation therapies and procedures. Additional certifications such as ACLS and experience with EMR systems like Aria are preferred.

Shift : 8 AM to 4 : 30 PM

Practice Setting : Free standing cancer center

Location : Upper Midwest Iowa

Schedule Requirements :

Facility is looking for FULL TIME coverage only. Provider must be available to work 4 week stretches at a time. Provider can take some time off in between 4 week stretches, but cannot take time off within the 4-week block.

Required procedures : Conventional Radiotherapy , 3D Radiotherapy , External Beam Radiation - IMRT, External Beam Radiation - IGRT, External Beam Radiation - 3D-CRT, Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT), Stereotactic Radiosurgery, Photon Beam Radiation Therapy, Fractionated Stereotactic Radiotherapy

Average Time of Credentialing : 30-60 days

Start Date : ASAC

Requirement :

• COVID Vaccine
• Must be able to start ASAP upon credentialing - Required (Facility can offer temp privs which is approx. 30-60 days)
• MUST be available to offer coverage for 4 week stretches at a time - Required (notate at time of name clear)
• Aria documentation - HIGHLY PREFFERED. Note experience at time of name clear.
• Active IA license or IMLC - (not accepting candidates who need to obtain IMLC or IA license)
