Position :

This position is responsible for the overall care of pain management patients on a daily basis, including patient care in the clinic. In this position, the RN will be part of a clinical team dedicated to helping patients who suffer from chronic pain receive safe and responsible treatment options that help them improve their quality of life. This position will assess, plan, direct, administer, teach, and evaluate nursing care, and ensure quality and efficiency according to established hospital and PMG policies and procedures, The RN also understands and practices the mission, vision, and values of Wayne HealthCare. The RN works within the facility and nursing department philosophy and strategy, participates in the peer review process, and participates in the quality process. This non-union position reports to the RN Supervisor of Pain Management and the VP of Patient Care Services.

Qualifications :

• Current Ohio license as a Registered Nurse
• BLS certification
• Two years’ experience as a clinical nurse and in office management in a hospital environment – preferred experience in surgery, pre-op, PACU, ER, cardiac care, or critical care
• Computer proficiency and technical aptitude to utilize programs such as Microsoft Office and Excel
• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to read and follow instructions in English
• Must be able to lift 20 pounds
