$150–$170 per hour

🩺 About the Position

A top-tier cardiothoracic program is seeking a skilled CT Surgery Nurse Practitioner proficient in first-assist duties and advanced perioperative care. This role combines OR responsibilities , ICU / telemetry management , procedures , and weekend call surgical duties .

📍 Location : Saint Joseph Hospital – Lexington, KY

🏥 Setting : Inpatient + OR

🚀 Start Date : ASAP upon credentialing

🗓️ Schedule : PRN model

1–2 call days / week

1 weekend / month (Fri 7 AM – Mon 7 AM)

🕒 Call Hours : 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM

💻 EMR : Epic

🗂️ Credentialing : 90–110 days

🔧 Clinical Duties

🫀 First assist : CABG, AVR, MVR, thoracotomy, lung resections

🪡 Vein harvesting

🫁 Chest tube placement

👩‍⚕️ Telemetry & ICU patient management

🏥 Inpatient rounding + post-op care

🧰 Weekend procedures & surgical support

🎯 Requirements

PRN FTE model

👤 Candidate Requirements

Active Kentucky NP license (required)

Board Certified NP

ACLS & BLS required

Clean malpractice history (preferred)

Full proficiency in listed CT surgery procedures

Must list all availability at name clear

No temporary privileges available
