We’re seeking a skilled Purchasing Manager to join our team and contribute to maintaining essential operations within our organization. This role involves overseeing the procurement process, ensuring efficiency, and supporting key operations that make a meaningful impact on the community.
Primary Responsibilities
- Review purchase requisitions and prepare bid / proposal packages.
- Manage bid / proposal processes, including evaluating submissions and making recommendations for awards.
- Conduct pre-bid meetings and oversee the issuance of addendums as required.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and take appropriate actions.
- Administer and monitor operations of the purchasing card program.
- Ensure purchases align with organizational policies and procedures.
- Utilize various resources, including catalogs, policies, regulations, and reference texts, to support procurement activities.
