As a Regional Director, you’ll oversee multiple offices, each led by a Local Director responsible for financial success, business development, technical expertise, and staff management. Your mission will be to empower these leaders, strengthen client relationships, and position our company as the go-to partner for environmental consulting solutions.

Compensation and Schedule :
This position qualifies for a sign-on bonus of $10,000. This role is eligible for a hybrid schedule with the requirement of working in the Hayward, CA office at least 3 days a week.
The Regional Director will act as the Director for the Hayward, CA office and also have supervisory responsibilities to the Local Directors in their assigned region. This role reports to the COO.

The Regional Director, is the driving force behind the growth, performance, and collaboration of our Northern California and Oregon offices. Their leadership won’t just keep things running but will shape the future of our business, inspire teams, and deliver exceptional value to our clients.
Fuel Growth & Profitability – Partner with Local Directors to design and execute strategies that expand revenue streams and strengthen profitability across the region.Achieve Meaningful Results – Lead the region to meet and exceed ambitious goals set by the Chief Operating Officer, making a measurable impact on the company’s success.Elevate Operations – Create action plans that drive continuous improvement, put proactive contingency plans in place, and ensure excellence through consistent operational standards.Build & Inspire Teams – Work closely with Local Directors to identify staffing needs, recruit top talent, and mentor the next generation of leaders through thoughtful development and succession planning.Strengthen Collaboration – Bridge offices with key support departments (Finance, Marketing, HR, IT) to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and set new standards for operational excellence.Lead with Presence – Visit local offices regularly, building trusted relationships with directors, staff, and teams while fostering a culture of integrity, accountability, and teamwork.Champion Client Success – Maintain strong connections with high-value clients, ensure their satisfaction, and create seamless transition plans that protect relationships and future opportunities.Financial Responsibilities - Work closely with the offices to achieve annual profitability targets in both dollars and margin, achieve revenue targets and manage expenses within budget. Complete and update budgets for offices in alignment with corporate financial targets, forecast and provide proposal review and guidance.Business Development Responsibilities - Collaborate effective with the Local Directors and Sales Team to successfully grow market share through the development of external facing new business opportunities, as well as in collaboration with other service areas within our current client base through cross-selling. Identify sectors within the local market with new client growth opportunities and lead the technical staff to engage in business development activities. Monitor and analyze market trends, competition, and emerging opportunities.Technical Responsibilities - Keep stay up to date on environmental safety and health legislation and industry developments. Act as a company authority and leverage others within the company in our service disciplines. Ensure each office has balanced technical capabilities and development plans in place. Evaluate technical data gaps between senior and junior staff and create a succession plan for successful transition of knowledgeWhat You Bring to the Role
Experience managing a profit and loss center with strong financial reporting skills and a history of consistently meeting and exceeding financial targets.Ability to make critical, high-stakes decisions confidently under pressure.Exceptional organizational and time management skills to drive results across multiple offices and initiatives.Lead by example, motivating teams in alignment with our Core Values.Familiarity with key Industrial Hygiene services, including asbestos, lead, and mold, preferred.Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work effectively with diverse staff.Willingness to travel as needed to maintain strong relationships with staff, clients, and regional teams.Proficiency in essential computer software with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems.Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills to convey ideas clearly, influence stakeholders, and build lasting client relationships.Education / Credential :
Bachelor’s / University degree in engineering, science, environmental science, environmental management or a related disciplineA postgraduate qualification in a related discipline and / or MBA desirableA minimum of 15 years’ experience in selling, managing and delivering environmental projectsA minimum of 10 years of demonstrated leadership and supervisory experienceAdditional Requirements :
