About The Position We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a 78-day locum tenens assignment in Missouri. This role commences on Nov 3, 2025, and encompasses three 12-hour day shifts per week, including some weekends, with shift hours potentially ranging from 9 AM to 9 PM or 1 PM to 1 AM. This position requires acute care expertise in a fast-paced emergency setting, utilizing the Epic EMR system to enhance patient care. Job Details Location : Missouri Start Date : Nov 3, 2025 LOA : 78 days Provider Type Needed : Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner Schedule : 3 12-hour shifts per week, including some weekends Responsibilities and Duties Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in a trauma center. Utilize advanced practice skills to diagnose, treat, and manage patient health problems. Prescribe medications and treatments with attention to accuracy and patient safety. Perform procedures pertinent to acute emergency care settings. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care delivery. Document all patient care services and interactions in the Epic EMR system. Additional Information Required Board Certifications : Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (ACNP-BC); Emergency Nurse Practitioner Certification (ENP); Emergency Nurse Practitioner Certification (ENP-BC) Must hold a valid Missouri Nurse Practitioner license. Prior experience in an academic setting and trauma center is essential.
