Technical Project Manager – PACS Implementation (Healthcare IT)

About the Role

Aberdeen Advisors is urgently seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with hands-on expertise in PACS implementation to support a major healthcare imaging systems upgrade. This individual will partner closely with IT, clinical, and vendor teams to drive the successful replacement and integration of the organization’s Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of PACS upgrade and replacement initiatives.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, and resources across internal teams and external vendors.
• Oversee technical implementation, including imaging modality integration (X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound) and connections with RIS, EMR, and VNA systems.
• Collaborate with radiology, IT, and clinical teams to ensure seamless integration and minimal disruption to operations.
• Direct system migration, interface configuration, and data validation activities.
• Coordinate technical dependencies and vendor deliverables across all imaging and information systems.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, risk logs, and status reports.
• Facilitate stakeholder communication, reporting progress, risks, and key decisions to leadership.
