Job Responsibilities
Provides support to Lifestyle Communities, Lifestyle Community Managers, Lifestyle
Directors, and other related market leadership associates with all aspects of lifestyle
programming, associated governance, and amenity operations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Supports local market teams, as and if needed, in the recruitment and / or selection of new community Lifestyle Directors.
- Develops and updates standard operating procedures and programming support
resources designed to enhance the quality and continuity of lifestyle program
execution for our clients.
Provide additional training and support to regional Lifestyle Directors, ensuring all associates participate in monthly lifestyle collaboration calls, engage with their peers, and utilize standard FirstService SOPs and resources.Facilitates monthly regional programming collaboration calls to enhance opportunities for networking, to share best practices and program ideas, and for associates to obtain feedback from their peers on issues of common interest or concern.Assists in coordinating regional lifestyle summits and other in-person events in the market.Collaborates with other markets across the region to leverage resources and promote quality and continuity of lifestyle programming across the brand.Supports community teams and builder clients with the implementation of strategies designed to leverage and integrate lifestyle in the sales process.Updates and facilitates an introductory lifestyle orientation and training program for new lifestyle directors and other community management associates directly involved in programming and lifestyle support operations.Maintain training program to serve as a resource to these lifestyle associates and boards and committees in areas of programming, amenity operations, lifestyle community governance, etc.Researches and reports on consumer lifestyle demographic and programming trends.Supports community teams in their efforts to establish local partnerships with outside businesses and professional organizations that add value to the menu of in-house lifestyle offerings.Works collaboratively with various departments on associate appreciation events.Together with members of the market leadership team, participates in the pursuit of new business opportunities.Additional Duties & Responsibilities
Practice and adhere to FirstService Residential Global Service Standards.Conduct business at all times with the highest standards of personal, professional and ethical conduct.Perform or assist with any operations as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules.Notify supervision of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional material and supplies.May participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines.Ensure all safety precautions are followed while performing the work.Follow all policies and Standard Operating Procedures as instructed by Management.Perform any range of special projects, tasks and other related duties as assigned.Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not require any supervisory responsibilities Education & ExperienceA minimum of 8-10 years of work experience in the area of activity and eventplanning at two or more residential communities and / or public and private
organizations.
Experience in programming at both active adult and multi-generational residential lifestyle communities is preferred.Leadership experience in the community association management, parks andrecreation or hospitality industry and / or another applicable field.
Proficient level of computer / technology skills including Microsoft Office Word,Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, Zoom / Microsoft Teams, etc.
Experience in developing and deploying strategic plansExperience in undertaking market and competitive researchA strong desire to work in self-motivating, passionately driven customer service organizationExperience delivering effective presentations and educational material to a variety of audiencesKnowledge, Skills & Proficiencies

Position involves sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, pushing, shoving, lifting, carrying, andmoving objects that can weigh up to 50 lbs or more, following appropriate safety procedures.

Must be able to drive - Some local travel by personal vehicle is requiredMust be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time.Must be able to communicate both on the phone and in person with our clients in order to resolveissues and manage the business.
Must have finger dexterity for typing / using a keyboard.Must be mobile enough to move around both the office in order to make copies, send mail andfaxes and to walk around the property. This could include lengthy walks on uneven areas.
Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors,and other associates.
Capable of working extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as necessary.This position may alternate between working indoors in a controlled climate and with properlighting and working outdoors in an outdoor setting with variable climate and lighting.
Must be able to interact with all types of individuals, be mentally alert, detail-oriented, and havegood reasoning skills.
Must be able to work on more than one assignment at a time with frequent interruptions,changes, and delays. Must be able to remain focused and work effectively, efficiently, and
cheerfully under such circumstances. For safety reasons, employee must remain alert to working
conditions and aware of safety, health, and environmental concerns.
Must be able to work effectively and cheerfully in an environment which may be stressful due toadversarial situations resulting from the proper performance of duties
The work environment characteristics are normal office conditions for the role. Reasonable
