Edge Bander Operator – Furniture Manufacturing

Location : Saranac, MI

Shift : 2nd Shift; 2pm-Midnight Monday-Thursday

Pay : $20-25 / hr Depending on Experience

About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Edge Bander Operator to join our furniture manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate and maintain edge banding machines used to apply edging materials to wood panels and furniture components. This position is ideal for someone with woodworking experience who takes pride in producing high-quality finished products.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and adjust edge banding machines to meet production specifications
• Inspect panels and finished edges for quality, accuracy, and appearance
• Load materials such as PVC, wood veneer, or laminate edge tape into machines
• Perform routine machine maintenance and minor repairs as needed
• Monitor machine operation and make adjustments to ensure consistent quality
• Maintain clean and organized work area following 5S and safety standards
• Work closely with other team members to meet daily production goals
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards
