Key Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced radiographic and CT methods to produce diagnostic images for clinical evaluation
• Partner with radiologists and the healthcare team to facilitate accurate diagnostics
• Expertly position patients and adjust equipment for peak imaging performance
• Adhere to established radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff
• Maintain meticulous records, including image logs and maintenance of imaging equipment
• Deliver empathetic patient care during the imaging process
• Contribute to a well-organized, safe, and efficient imaging environment

Education and Experience

• An Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is required; a Bachelor's Degree is advantageous
• Successful graduation from an accredited radiology program

Certifications Needed

• ARRT certification in CT and/or Radiography
• Valid BLS certification or ability to secure one within 90 days of hire

Essential Skills

• Sound knowledge of diagnostic imaging protocols and safety guidelines
• Excellent communication abilities to connect with patients and team members
• Skill in adapting to a fast-paced work environment and swiftly changing demands
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability
• Comfortable using PACS, RIS, and contemporary imaging technology
