Description :

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit.

This position requires working three 12-hour night shifts with holiday rotation.

The nurse to patient ratio is 1 : 2.

Every other weekend is required.

Candidates need to have a minimum of 1 year of experience in CVICU.

First-time travelers will not be accepted.

A valid nursing license is required before starting.

Candidates must possess current certifications : ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.

Experience in cardiac care is essential for this role.

Travelers may be required to float within the critical care department.

Approval for a block schedule can be requested prior to assignment, but it is not guaranteed.

During hurricane season, all staff may be assigned to emergency response teams.

All time off requests must be included at the time of submission.

The facility allows for the potential cancellation of one shift every two weeks.
