Key Responsibilities :
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair refrigeration systems used in poultry processing and cold storage
Monitor temperature controls in processing and storage areas to ensure compliance with food safety standards
Perform routine preventive maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration equipment
Maintain accurate service logs and ensure compliance with OSHA, USDA, and EPA regulations
Qualifications :
2+ years of industrial or commercial HVAC / R experience (food processing preferred)
EPA Universal Certification required
Knowledge of ammonia systems (a plus, but not required)
Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Willingness to work in cold and damp environments typical of food production
