About the Role
Codis (formerly Particle Dynamics) is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead strategic and tactical initiatives across procurement, demand planning, inventory control, and supplier management for both our Seymour and St. Louis facilities. This is a highly visible role responsible for driving cost savings, improving supplier performance, and ensuring materials availability for current and future demand.
The ideal candidate is analytical, experienced in complex supply chains, skilled in negotiation, and comfortable working cross-functionally with Finance, PPIC, Quality, and Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead annual physical inventory for St. Louis and oversee Seymour operations
- Manage standard cost updates and develop cost models for new and existing products
- Track material usage variances and integrate yields into standard cost models
- Lead demand planning and SIOP processes for both facilities
- Prepare monthly inventory and absorption projections
- Partner with Finance to ensure accurate data exports from MRP to Access & QuickBooks
- Drive second-source initiatives and yearly purchase price improvements
- Negotiate and manage supplier and logistics contracts
- Source and qualify new and alternate materials, supporting development initiatives
- Maintain records related to supplier qualifications and compliance
- Enter and maintain purchase orders and inventory in MRP (PCMRP experience preferred)
- Manage pre-shipment and development material samples
- Coordinate packaging design and approvals (bags, labels)
- Maintain kosher certification records and coordinate with auditors
- Support SOP development, validation documentation, and reporting
