IVIRMA North America network of state-of-the-art fertility practices in the United States, is currently seeking a SONOGRAPHER / Ultrasound Technician to join our growing Sky Ridge practice! Hours will be 4 days a week, 7am-4 : 30pm.

Job Purpose : The Sonographer is responsible for providing detailed ultrasound imaging of the female reproductive system to help identify the causes of infertility and to guide fertility treatments.

Essential Functions and Accountabilities :

• Collaborates with physicians, other medical providers, and patients by providing expert care and service for fertility treatments
• Establishes personal rapport with patients
• Provides explanations of procedures
• Performs detailed sonographic examinations of female reproductive systems and identifies abnormalities
• Responsible for generating and documenting ultrasound reports for physician interpretation
• Procedure set-up, following all sterile precautions.
• Performs and provides explanations of procedures, including Sonohysterograms, FemVue, and Ultrasound guidance for embryo transfers
• Tracks fetal growth and development up to 9 weeks gestational age
• Maintains ultrasound equipment
• Orders ultrasound supplies and keeps rooms stocked
• Travel to other Company locations as needed
• Rotating holiday and weekend shift coverage
