Express Employment Professionals is working with a reputable Garage Door Company to find their next Experienced Sales Technician & Service Pro. This is a full-time position based in Redding, CA, with occasional travel to Chico.  There is not a training position, you must have previous experience.

The ideal candidate has extensive, hands-on experience in the garage door industry and is highly skilled in both sales and technical service. This is not an entry-level role—we’re seeking a seasoned professional with a proven track record in garage door systems, repair, and closing high-value sales.

Compensation & Benefits :

Starting hourly wage : $20–$40 / hr, depending on experience

Base salary or commission-based pay structure (clear path to earning $100K+ / year)

Qualifications :

Several years of hands-on experience in the garage door industry

Strong background in both garage door sales and technical service

Skilled in diagnosing, repairing, and installing garage door systems

Previous success in closing in-home sales is a plus

Comfortable using Apple devices and apps (e.g., iPad, Service Titan)

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Must be able to pass a background check

Key Responsibilities :

Sales Duties :

Consult with customers and provide expert product recommendations

Generate accurate estimates and follow up promptly

Close high-value residential and commercial sales

Deliver outstanding customer service from first contact to completion

Build lasting client relationships

Technical Service Duties :

Expertly install, service, and repair garage doors and openers

Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure long-term solutions

Maintain organized and efficient workflow using Apple-based systems
