Serasana means Healthy Life, and our mission is to create a community of hope and healing. Serasana is a Wellness Studio that fuses ancient wellness practices, specializing in rejuvenation through stress and pain management by blending acupuncture, yoga, massage, skincare and healing tea and remedies.

We are looking for a part-time licensed esthetician to join our team. The other three central Texas locations already have established skincare departments - we are starting ours on November 1st in partnership with AVEDA, using its products in facials and retail. Our environment is unique we have a beautiful tea bar and a thoughtful retail selection that supports our clients on their wellness journey.

Responsibilities

• Understand the Serasana model of health and wellness, and work together with fellow team members to help our clients take full advantage of available offerings
• Take detailed histories, including information about injuries and chronic health conditions
• Evaluate the client's skin condition
• Create authentic treatment plans
• Customize sessions around specific complaints or problem areas
• Discuss how clients can take better care of their skin
• Refer clients to skincare specialists for specific skin problems
• Consult with clients regarding their current needs, medical history and overall wellness
• Guide clients through our service offerings
• Recommend treatment plans that can include suggestions for better health including yoga, acupuncture, meditation, tea and other remedies to assist clients in their wellness journey
• Provide client with Wellness Prescription after each session
• Recommend and sell products
• Client retention
• Disinfect equipment and work areas after each use
• Complete SOAP notes after each session
• Completed state-approved cosmetology or esthetician program

Qualifications

Completed state-approved cosmetology or esthetician program

Current Texas License for Estheticians

Current Liability Insurance

Prior experience using AVEDA products is a big plus s a plus

$27 - $42 per facial + 10% Retail Commission + Tips
