Manager sits in Miamisburg OH

Days of the week : Monday through Friday, 1x month deployments on Fridays sometimes need to be an evening

Function of the group :

MDB originations team, front end applications, pull in data and aggregate data creating tables to feed to other applications and reporting

Current initiatives / project(s) that this resource will be impacting :

Hub for data within Mortgage

Home equity loans

Industry background :

Background in banking, finance, mortgage would be helpful

Team dynamic :

Business (bulk of meetings)

Data Engineers- typically working other projects but will consult with each other

Software Engineers

Testers

Run the bank deployment teams

Roles and Responsibilities :

Working with business partners to gather requirements, troubleshoot code, etc. is ideal - should be comfortable working with a wide variety of teams / levels with great communication and follow-up.

Understand existing code and analyze it

Technical Skills :

Very strong SQL skills required including DDL (code to create objects) and DML (code for running); SQL developer and Toad

Experience with Oracle (to do database queries), SQL server also OK

Flex Skills :

Experience with Empower originations system is a plus

ETL - knowledge
