We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient QA & Test Engineer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have experience in testing financial applications, particularly mortgage origination, servicing, or underwriting platforms. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, accuracy, and compliance of our mortgage software solutions through rigorous testing and validation.
Requirements :5+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in the mortgage or financial services domainStrong understanding of mortgage lifecycle processes (origination, underwriting, closing, servicing)Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systemsFamiliarity with automation testing tools and scripting languagesExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsKnowledge of regulatory compliance in mortgage lendingStrong grasp of logic and pseudocodeAnalytical stills bridging legal research and rule-based logicSkilled in independent test case design and executionThorough bug reporting and documentationStrong work ethics, a passion for excellence and a desire to continuously learnExceptional multi-tasking abilities and a high level of organization to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environmentPolite and professional attitudeISTQB or equivalent certification is preferredEducation :Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferredDuties :Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for LOS, compliance and related software applicationsPerform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and ensure test coverageIdentify, document, and track software defects using issue tracking toolsValidate compliance with mortgage industry standards and regulations (e.g., RESPA, TRID, HMDA)Participate in Agile process and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processesConduct data validation and backend testing using SQL or other database toolsAssist in automation testing effortsSchedule :Onsite at our McLean office Monday – Thursday, Remote on FridaysEqual Opportunity Employer Statement: LendingPad is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
