Senior Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Irvine, California. This is a long-term contract position with the potential to transition into a permanent role. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the organization's financial processes are efficient and compliant.

Responsibilities :

Manage month-end close activities, including preparing and reviewing journal entries.

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Prepare and analyze financial statements for internal and external reporting.

Conduct account and bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are properly recorded.

Support financial operations and reporting for acquired entities, ensuring proper integration and alignment.

Assist in maintaining the financial health of the core partner company.

Collaborate with teams to improve financial processes and ensure timely reporting.

Utilize QuickBooks and other accounting software to manage financial tasks effectively.

Provide detailed financial analysis to support decision-making and long-term planning.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies.

Requirements :

Proven experience in accounting, including month-end close and general ledger management.

Proficiency in QuickBooks and familiarity with other accounting software.

Strong knowledge of financial statement preparation and analysis.

Experience with account and bank reconciliations.

Ability to manage multiple entities and consolidate financial information.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Strong organizational and communication abilities.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
