Job descriptionCollaborate with the database team to design and implement efficient database structures. Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting. Ensure data integrity and security throughout the development lifecycle. Conduct thorough testing of database applications to ensure functionality and reliability. Support the deployment process and provide post-deployment assistance. Debug and resolve issues in existing systems to maintain high-quality application standards. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and QA engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions. Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including database schemas and workflows. Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in PL / SQL development. At least 2+ years of working experience with Oracle database management systems (e.g., Oracle 12c, 18c, 19c). Strong expertise in PL / SQL programming and understanding of database concepts. Proficiency with SQL and PL / SQL development tools such as Oracle SQL Developer and Toad. Solid knowledge of database design principles and data modeling. Hands-on experience with query optimization and performance tuning. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and related tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, or other advanced Oracle database features. Knowledge of ETL tools and processes. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud for database management. Experience in data warehousing and business intelligence tools.
