The Carrington Research Extension Center is seeking a Foundation Seedstocks Research Technician for our Foundation seedstocks program. The person in this position is responsible for assisting in foundation seed production, cleaning and distribution, and equipment maintenance and repair. The position requires diverse skills with major responsibilities to include assisting in planting, maintenance and harvest of foundation seedstocks; assisting with seed conditioning and distribution; performing maintenance and repair of farm-scale equipment; and assist with tasks related to general CREC needs. Come join our team as we use our newly-built seed conditioning plant to serve the region.
Work Schedule :
Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with extended hours at various times of the year.
Advertised Salary :
$45,000 to $54,000 per year depending on experience with retirement plan and full coverage for family health insurance
