Material Handler 2nd Shift

Location : Crest Hill, IL, US, 60403

The Material Handler is responsible for shipping, receiving and transporting packaging, ingredients, and finished goods for the facility.

Key Accountabilities and Outcomes :

• Observes all safety rules and regulations including use of personal protective equipment and material handling.
• Follows all established Good Manufacturing Practices, including maintaining an orderly and clean work area.
• Maintain forklifts by daily inspecting batteries, water levels, lights, horn, tires, mirrors, oil levels, backup beep indicators, etc.
• Verify all deliveries / discrepancies by inspecting materials through physically counting and comparing the amount printed on the delivery receipt.
• Enter necessary documentation of delivery receipts or material handling into the company's computer system.
• Organize / rotate old materials with new.
• Housekeeping : daily remove / fix any dirty, torn, hanging, broken wood, packaging, ingredients etc.
• Assist management with inventory balances through physical cycle counts.
• Label any open / partial ingredient and packaging.
• Check production schedules daily to stage packaging and ingredients if needed.
• Performs all other warehouse and freezer duties.
• Must be able to operate all forklift equipment.
• Must be trained and recertified annually for forklift license.
• Must be able to work in an extremely cold environment.

Compensation :

In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location. Annual Range / Hourly Rate $20.80 - $20.80
