Litigation Claims Adjuster – Commercial Auto (Physical Damage & Bodily Injury)

Location :  Fort Lauderdale, FL

About the Role

Cable Insurance Company is seeking a highly skilled  Litigation Claims Adjuster  specializing in  Commercial Auto – Physical Damage and Bodily Injury . This role requires a confident communicator and strategic thinker with proven experience managing litigated and complex claims files. The ideal candidate is exceptionally organized, analytical, and able to balance detailed file work with big-picture case strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload of  litigated commercial auto claims  involving property damage and bodily injury.
• Evaluate coverage, assess liability, and determine exposure based on facts, evidence, and applicable laws.
• Work directly with  defense counsel  to develop, monitor, and execute litigation strategy.
• Attend  claims review meetings  and actively contribute updates, recommendations, and settlement strategies.
• Maintain accurate, detailed claim documentation, reserving accuracy, and timely reporting in the claims system.
• Communicate effectively with insureds, attorneys, experts, and internal stakeholders to drive resolution.
• Prepare settlement evaluations, coverage analyses, and other written summaries for management review.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices for claims handling.

Qualifications

5–7 years  of experience handling  litigated commercial auto claims  with both  bodily injury and physical damage  exposure.

Strong knowledge of Florida and multi-state claims handling and litigation processes.

Excellent  communication, negotiation, and writing skills  — capable of clear and persuasive correspondence.

Highly organized  with the ability to manage multiple active litigated files simultaneously.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Proficient in claims management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Bachelor’s degree preferred; insurance designations (AIC, CPCU, or equivalent) a plus.
