We are looking for a Staff Accountant with grant accounting experience to help a mission-driven organization maintain financial accuracy, compliance, and accountability. This role is essential for supporting the organization's programs and ensuring resources are used responsibly.

What You'll Do As the Staff Accountant :

Oversee accounting and financial reporting for multiple grants and funding sources

The Staff Accountant will monitor and reconcile grant expenditures to ensure compliance with funder requirements

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for grants

The Staff Accountant will assist with budget planning, monitoring, and forecasting for grant-funded programs

Support annual audits and prepare grant-related schedules and documentation

The Staff Accountant will maintain accurate records in accordance with accounting standards and funder expectations

Partner with program managers to provide financial insights and guidance on grant spending

What We're Looking For :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

2+ years of accounting experience, ideally within a non-profit environment

Strong understanding of grant accounting, fund accounting, or restricted funds

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks or similar)
