Security Guard

Job Summary :

Hm Staffing Solutions is seeking a reliable and observant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will help maintain a safe and secure environment for our employees, visitors, and property by patrolling premises, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding to incidents.

Responsibilities :

Monitor premises and personnel by patrolling property and inspecting buildings, access points, and equipment.

Control access to sites by verifying identification and logging visitor information.

Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances or suspicious activity.

Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.

Operate and monitor security systems including cameras and alarms.

Assist in emergency situations, including evacuations, medical calls, or fire response.

Enforce company rules and regulations while maintaining a professional and respectful demeanor.

Requirements :

High school diploma or equivalent.

Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position preferred.

Valid [State] security guard license (if applicable).

Excellent observation skills and attention to detail.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.
