LHH is seeking a Logistics Specialist to work for a leading manufacturing company in Duluth, GA. This position will start with a key focus on managing a tariff project, then transition into a full-time role supporting quotes, order entry, invoicing, and international logistics operations. The ideal candidate will be skilled in Excel and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that requires coordination across multiple teams.
Key Responsibilities :
- Initial Phase : Lead and complete a tariff management project as the introductory assignment.
- Support Sales and Product Managers in creating machine quotes.
- Handle order entry and tiered invoicing processes (quote-to-cash).
- Coordinate logistics for large, crated machinery imported from overseas (primarily Italy).
- Manage documentation such as bills of lading and shipping / freight paperwork.
- Collaborate with Accounting to track payments due / made and support AR-related tasks.
- Utilize Excel to manage data and reporting.
- Act as a liaison between Sales, Accounting, and Warehouse teams.
Qualifications :
Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data tracking)Experience with order management and complex invoicing (preferably tiered)Knowledge of international logistics, including shipping / receiving, freight, and customsFamiliarity with order-to-cash processesExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsResilience, reliability, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environmentExperience in a manufacturing or logistics-heavy environmentAt least 3 years of relevant experienceJob Type :
